Well, I wrote a couple of posts recently that got lost when we switched servers, so here’s my best attempt to recreate the information.
First of all, you may have intuited that our site’s server switch has been successfully completed. At this point, I now need to create a searchable game database. I’m not sure how to do that, so this should be interesting. In addition, the calendar isn’t working right (you can only see September), and we need to figure out a fix for that as well. Obviously, the buttons are also off because they mainly pointed to areas in the ecommerce that no longer exist. They’ll pull up the first–index–page but won’t go any deeper. I apologize, and we’ll get those fixed ASAP as well. Web sites are a pain, did you know that?
In the meantime, Weekend in the Realms, a D&D event, is moving forward as planned. The schedule is as follows:
Friday, 24 Oct: LFR character creation workshop, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Friday, 24 Oct: WEEK1-1 “Beneath Haunted Halls” Part 1 @ 6:00 pm
Saturday, 25 Oct: LFR character creation workshop 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Saturday, 25 Oct: WEEK1-2 “Beneath Haunted Halls” Part 2 @ 12:00 pm
Saturday, 25 Oct: WEEK1-3 “Beneath Haunted Halls” Part 3 @ 4:00 pm
Our main DMs are Don Brown and Chris Connelley, with a few others filling in for a game or two as well. Each adventure should take about 3 hours, so plan accordingly. We are expecting great turnout for this. Sign up early to make sure you get a seat.
We also got Agricola finally. We’ve sold several and only have a couple left. If you’re interested in picking up the game that’s been #1 on board game geek for ages make sure you get it soon, because I don’t anticipate being able to get any more until Christmas at the earliest.
That’s about it, I think. If you have any suggestions for the web site, let me know at dawn@epicpug.com or through comments here (don’t use the contact form–it isn’t working either). Now’s the best time for changes, obviously, and I take feedback seriously.
PS–I also lost my International Talk Like a Pirate Day post, which sucks. I’m not going to rewrite it, but here are the pictures:
